Diary++X's development intention is to manage various information(articles) with date. Although you can use to note the traditional diary.
It can manage the dated articles (diary) and undated articles (memo). It can have multiple diary pages of the same date and multiple memo groups.
Each article is styled text can include image, link and so on. It can have a title, keywords and a color label. It is saved as a Rich Text Format file (rtf or rtfd) in ~/Library/Application Support/Diary++X as default.
You can manage two or more article views by using the tab.
You can retrieve an article form article list of each category (yearly, monthly, bookmark, smart bookmark etc.).
You can search articles using spotlight and multiple file text searching.
You can install Diary++X on any location of your hard disk. But if you use services menu provided by Diary++X, install in /Applications or ~/Applications folder or its sub folder.
You cannot open Diary++X with normal procedure at the first launch time on OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or later because it has no developer ID. Please open with fallowing steps:
You should perform the upper procedure once at the first launch time on each user account. You can open the application with normal procedure (double click application icon and so on) after performing these.
